Good mystery/thriller books thay keep you on your toes?

Ive been on a mystery and thriller kick recently but i have a problem where i figure out the twist super early in the book. The last 3 ive read ive fugured out the ending within the first 5 chapters. Dont get me wrong i still enjoyed them but sometimes the autistic pattern recognition goes a little too hard. I want a true mystery that will keep me guessing, but i also like having a trail of breadcrumbs to follow so i can pretend like i can figure the mystery out.

If possible, id also prefer one that doesn't unclude a lot of rape/violence against women as that can sometimes be a bit much for me.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

What name do I look like?

I’ve been going by Eli, but I recently heard the name Mars and I love it. Do I look like either, or maybe something else entirely?

I’ve been really struggling to find a haircut that I like post starting to transition. Right now my hair is just kind of long and moppy, but I miss having it actually look good lol. My hair is really think and curly so finding something that doesn’t turn into a ball of frizz after a day is also a struggle. Does anyone happen to have a recommendation?
