What's your D&D class tier list? Built a free one you can share

Rank all 13 D&D classes from S to F, you can drag and drop or tap and place. When you're done you can get a shareable link and even download the image if you want.

There is no wrong answers haha. Your rankings probably look completely different depending on what classes you've played, or whether you are ranking based on combat, roleplaying, new player friendliness, fun factor, etc. Thats the fun part. I would rank Ranger S tier mainly because thats the class I play the most haha.

Would love to see how people rank and what they base their rankings off of.

Also open to feedback and maybe other tier list ideas within D&D, i've thought about maybe doing subclasses within a specific class, maybe spells, monsters, etc. Let me know what you would want ranked!

I built a D&D campaign manager and I want to replace all the AI art with work from real creators

I'm a solo dev and creator of Quill. I've been building this campaign management tool for DM's the last 4-5 months. When I started, I used AI generated art as a placeholder to get the product off the ground. Looking back, I probably should have just launched without it and waited until I could do it right. But I was excited to ship and made the call to use it as filler. It got me to launch, but I know it's a problem. The DnD community cares about art and artists, and having AI art on the site undermines what I'm trying to build.

So I want to replace all of it. Every page, asset, Character portraits, scene illustrations, UI Art, landing page, etc. All up for grabs.

So with that said, what I can offer right now:

  1. Your name credited on every piece, visible to users.
  2. Links to your portfolio, socials, displayed alongside your work
  3. A dedicated artist credit page on the site.
  4. A live product with real traffic seeing your work daily.

The hard part, what I can't offer yet: is payment. Im a solo founder and creator and revenue isn't there yet. If Quill gets big enough I would love to pay and support artists who help build it visually.

I'm also open to recommendations for free to use or Creative Commons art packs, asset libraries, or any resource that community trusts. Consistency is a concern with stock art, but I think thats gonna be a tradeoff to get away from AI-generated images. So if you know of good resources, that would be extremely helpful too.

So if you are a new creator looking to get your work in front of people, or an established artist who just think this sounds like a cool project, i would love to hear from you. No minimum commitment, even a single character portrait help me replace one more AI image.

You can checkout the site at quillgm.com to see whats there now and what needs replacing, DM me or drop a comment if you're interested.

Thanks!

Campaign manager for DMs. Here's what it does

I'm a software engineer and I kept watching friends try to run campaigns out of Google Docs and Discord pins and it was painful. So I built Quill.

It's built for both prep and live at the table. You can plan out your scenes, NPCs, encounters, and loot ahead of time, then use the same tools during a session. Battle tracker, initiative, HP, conditions, loot drops, session timer, debrief when you're done. It all flows together instead of bouncing between five different apps.

Scenes, NPCs, monsters, battle tracking, loot and item management, encounter tables, tactical maps, session debriefs, a timeline that builds itself as you play. All of it.

The free tier (Scroll) has access to every feature. Not a stripped down demo, not a trial. Every tool, every page, fully functional. You can run an entire campaign and never pay a cent.

The only things behind a paywall are the features that use AI on the backend, because those actually cost money to run. That's the companion chat, NPC dialogue generation, image generation, session recaps, stuff like that. Tome is $9/mo and Grimoire is $24/mo depending on how much you use the AI side.

But if you just want a solid campaign manager with no AI, Scroll does it all for free.

I built a free story-driven quiz that helps you find your D&D class

Hey everyone — I've been working on a tool called Class Quest that takes a different approach to the "what class should I play?" question. Instead of a checklist or personality test, it drops you into a short narrative scenario (think 5-6 choices) and recommends a class based on how you actually react to situations. There are 3 different stories to play through right now — a crumbling temple, a haunted village, and a heist. It's completely free, no sign-up required. Figured it might be useful for:

  • New players who are overwhelmed by all the class options
  • Experienced players looking for a fresh pick for their next campaign
  • DMs who want to send it to players during session zero

Here's the link: https://quillgm.com/class-quest Would love to hear what class you get and whether it feels accurate. Happy to answer any questions about how it works.
