I have a townhouse in Victoria, BC that is paid off that I currently rent out, I'm considering using my heloc to invest in my non-registered account in order to put the equity I built up to work. My initial plan would be to invest in a number of Canadian dividend stocks. I was wondering if anyone here has done anything similar and could provide some advice. Thanks.

I'm looking at purchasing a diverge to use as both a gravel bike and bike touring/packing and I've narrowed it down to either a 2024 STR Comp or a 2026 4 sport carbon, for roughly the same price.

Would appreciate any feedback.
