Very upsetting D line experience

I normally read on my ride to work, and because of this stupid D line extension I now have SIGNIFICANTLY LESS time to read, it's truly upsetting.

Used to get a solid 10 minutes of reading while waiting for bunches of 720 buses to slowly make their way through the chaos of Wilshire, I would get to sit on a nice hot bench in the sun (perfect for working on my tan) and the once I got to the D line, it would normally be a long time between trains so I would sit and wait around 8 minutes (sometimes more!)

But now I don't get this time to read because this stupid metro is too efficient. What am supposed to do now?!!?!!

Thanks metro >:[

Post Metro Opening weekend thread

What did y'all think? Did you ride it?

What was good? what was bad?

Are you more likely to use the metro for trips towards DTLA?

Hey all, I have organized a group metro ride from La Cienega to USC (D -> E) for mothers day. There are about 60 people going to the game with us and it's gonna be a good time!

I am a frequent metro rider, but I don't have any experience with big groups, does anyone have any ideas about how to make the ticketing process / getting through the gate with that many people more simple? I was planning on just going to the Metro Customer Service center and seeing if they can give me something to get all the people more rapidly through the gates!

Any other large group metro advice is welcome!
