Two weeks ago, I bought an item off Amazon for £40. I've been using it since, and it's pretty good, but I have been seriously considering returning because of a) a functional flaw (not major, just irritating) and b) a cosmetic flaw (the outer case is already getting scratched up). The exact same item came up in Vine this morning, so I took it.

Now the quandary - do I return the original one and get a refund for it? Would you?

When I launch Reddit on the iPad screen, it opens up on the iPad screen, in just the same way as all other apps do. but, it also opens up in full screen on the secondary monitor, and the cursor is locked from moving onto the secondary monitor. The only way to proceed after that is to use Cmd/Tab to switch back to the previous app and then invoke App Switcher to throw Reddit out of memory.

I've just received a Beelink mini PC (Beelink Mini PC, 12th Alder Lake N95, Turbo 3.4GHz), Mini Computer 8G DDR4 3200MHz 256G SSD) which is pre-configured with Windows 11 Home and MS Office 365. I would like to change it to run one breed or another of Linux and EuroOffice, Open Office, or something like that.

Could anybody point me towards a guide for installing Linux and an Office suite onto such a machine, please? I've been using Windows, OneDrive, Exchange, and Office for years, but it's getting to be ridiculously expensive and I'd really like to stop giving my money and data to Microsoft!

I have an iPad Air that I bought back in 2024. I use it via a hub that takes video signal to an external monitor via HDMI and supplies charge to the iPad.(the Avermedia hub from Amazon that I got back in Jan 2025 - details at https://www.amazon.co.uk/AVerMedia-Portable-Charging-Compatible-Accessories-Black/dp/B0DVSCRXK4?th=1)

The last few weeeks, my iPad has started getting really hot when I use the hub, and the charging icon changes from the green battery with a black bolt on it to a black battery with a white bolt on it. Does this mean my battery is toast? I checked battery health and it shows normal, with 86% max capacity, and 553 cycle count.
