Changing from CK 3 v18 to 19 and then back

Lately I’ve been really wanting to do a Japan campaign in CK3 and perhaps test out the new mechanics from v19. However, I am seeing reports that you can’t get EK2 working if you go to current version and then downgrade back to 18. I have been downgraded to 18 and not played 19 even once since it released. Is it possible to downgrade again, or is the general consensus that it is impossible?

In recent years, there seems to be an understanding that Caligula and Nero may have had their atrocities exaggerated by unfavorable biographers from the social elite. To what extent could a similar issue exist for the histories of Japan’s Three Great Villains?

To my understanding, this is a term used on occasion to refer to Taira no Kiyomori, Dokyo, and Ashikaga Takauji
