I ended my day with Blueberry Cornbread yesterday and had to light it back up this morning! I went with Blueberry Cotton Candy from 2022 after that. Then I decided to keep with the blueberry vibes and burned one of my other favorites, Blueberry Pumpkin Patch (2023 version). I love the spice note in that one. Ending the evening with Cotton Candy Cobwebs. I have another blueberry scent that I’m burning this month (Blueberry Maple Pancakes) but I wanted something a little lighter and that one is a powerhouse. The berry note in Cotton Candy Cobwebs is nice but it is definitely more of a generic mixed berry scent. I love the wax color and the label of it though! What’s everyone been burning today?

Sweet Kettle Corn is so good! I was a little bummed that Spooky Popcorn wasn’t a repackage of this one hit wonder but I’m excited to burn that one next month and see how it is. I have been on a bit of a popcorn candle kick lately. I burned one of the Popcorn & Slushie candles last month and I’ve also been burning Summer Boardwalk this month which has a caramel glazed popcorn note.

What’s an unexpected candle scent that you were pleasantly surprised by? For me it’s definitely popcorn scents. They just work though! 🍿

This month has been super busy (hence the late empties), which I knew it would be and that’s why I planned fewer burns for this month than usual. I have been burning and enjoying most of them already. First Blooms Of Spring has been really nice and it reminds me of Orange Lily Blossom from last year which I loved. Coconut Sandalwood is one of my favorite staples.

I ended up swapping the Eucalyptus Rain single wick I was planning to burn for a Glacier Lagoon single wick. I saw a lot of people saying Banana Cream Latte was light but mine was adequately strong! Pineapple Cream Puff was a favorite although light it’s a pleasant and not overly heavy gourmand. Carrot & Nectarine was wonderful! I know not everyone enjoyed that one with its vegetal earthy vibe but I love those kinds of fragrances and it was a flawless burn from start to finish. I was slightly disappointed when it first came out because I still have the original low profile Carrot Nectarine 3 wick and I was bummed they were not the same scent. However, as it turns out I actually prefer the new one!

Leather Bound Pages hand soap needs to be brought back and I’d love if they expanded it to wallflowers, room spray, candles, and body care! Speaking of body care… Dreaming Of Rio has a chokehold on me! I think that’s the fastest I’ve ever gone through a mini spray! The Midnight Pomegranate shower gel was from FOREVER ago (around 10yrs old and was originally $10.50) but was still amazing! The scent was unchanged and it lathered just as well as it did when I purchased it, they were always my favorite to use as bubble bath. I’d just moved it to the back of my collection waiting for it to come back again but I’ve been trying to use up some older stuff so it had to go.
