Does an I-94 expiration count as an overstay if I-485 was already pending?

Probably being paranoid with all the recent ICE/visa overstay cases, but looking for some clarity on my timeline:

Sept 30, 2022: I-140 filed (employment-based/H-1B)
Nov 21, 2022: I-140 approved
Dec 20, 2022: I-485 filed while in valid H-1B status
Jan 2024: H-1B visa stamp expired
Dec 15, 2025: I-485 interview
Dec 22, 2025: I-94 admit-until date
Jan 6, 2026: Green card approved

So my I-94 expired about 2 weeks before my GC was approved, but my I-485 had been pending since 2022.

Does that 2-week period count as an overstay/unlawful presence, or was I in authorized stay because the I-485 was pending?

I’m already an LPR just trying to understand if this is something I should actually be concerned about with everything going on lately.

How can I make the most of Wegovy pill when I’m paying out of pocket?

I started Wegovy (1.5mg) on June 4 at 207 lbs. By June 30, I was around 200, so I lost about 7 lbs in the first month.

I reached 199 around July 15, but after a few days of traveling and eating out, I’m back at 202. Still on 1.5 mg.

So technically I’m still down 5 lbs overall, but gaining 3 lbs back has been discouraging.

My appetite is significantly lower, and I’m definitely eating much less than before. However, I’m not always consistent with protein, hydration, or balanced meals. Sometimes I barely eat all day and then eat something heavier later. I also travel frequently for work, which makes consistency harder.

Since I’m paying out of pocket Wegovy, I want to make sure I’m using it properly and getting the best possible results. For anyone who had slower progress or fluctuations like this, what realistically helped - without starving yourself or doing anything extreme?
