I'm having a hard time going vegan

Hi good folks. I'm 18F. Throughout recent years I've made great progress on self development. I've left my religion, became politically left affiliated and gradually leaning towards veganism.

And I swear, it's hard. I come from a South Asian Muslim family. I was disgusted with meat since I was a child, witnessing our beloved cows getting slaughtered every year in eid. I was raised as a picky eater and my diet only consisted of chicken, scrambled egg, milk, selected few veggies, potato, carbs, and fruits sometimes. And recently I can only eat chicken when it doesn't look like it came from a real bird. e.g.- nuggets, chicken balls, patties etc. Well that's a good thing but the worst part is I still crave for them processed meat a lot. I promised myself I'll never stop by the take aways. I mass unfollowed mukbang and recipe channels I used to follow but yet somehow I find myself buying processed meat based food. Can anyone please suggest anything to get out of this?

I also have stopped buying makeup from the brands I used to like as they aren't vegan. Thank you for taking your time reading this.

Pains me so much when Muslims don't know the most basic stuff about their religion.
