Help please regarding pte cancellation

I took my PTE Academic test on 11 August 2026 at Swinburne Hawthorn in Melbourne. During the test, both of my markers stopped working, so I raised my hand and tried to get the staff member’s attention. The test centre later confirmed that this incident was recorded in their system.
After waiting 7 days for my result, Pearson told me my case was under review. Today, instead of receiving my score, I received an email saying that my completed test had been cancelled, and Pearson gave me a free voucher to sit the exam again.
I never asked them to cancel my test before seeing my result, and they still haven’t clearly explained why the completed test was cancelled or whether a score was generated.
Has anyone experienced something similar with PTE — especially a test being cancelled after completion because of a test-centre or technical issue? Did Pearson eventually explain the reason, and did you have to retake the exam?

Took My PTE on 11 August – Still Haven’t Received My Results

I took my PTE Academic test on 11 August and I still haven’t received my results. It has been a week now, and my result is still under review. Has anyone else who took their PTE around the same date experienced the same delay? If yes, how long did it take to receive your result?

210 EPP Hours Approved but 210 Still Remaining?

Hi everyone,
I started my Master of Engineering in July 2024.
The STEM Student Lifecycle team revoked my completion because they said I had not completed my required 210 EPP hours. I then submitted 210 EPP hours, and my submission has now been approved.
However, my EPP dashboard still shows 210 hours remaining, as Band 1 displays a 420-hour target.
Has anyone experienced the same situation? Does the remaining 210 simply reflect the Band 1 maximum, or does it mean further EPP hours are required?
Thanks in advance!

Can’t find the EPP submission portal

Hi everyone,
I need to submit my previous engineering work experience for the Engineering Practice Program (EPP) requirement. Dr. Sara told me to submit it through the EPP portal by completing an EPP submission.
However, I can’t find the EPP portal anywhere. I’ve checked Canvas (there is no EPP section) and InPlace, but I can’t find any option to submit work experience or an EPP submission.
Does anyone know where I can access the EPP portal or how to submit my previous work experience for EPP?
Thanks in advance!

RMIT revoked my completion over EPP

Hi everyone,
I’m an international student who recently completed the Master of Engineering (Civil) at RMIT.
After completing all of my coursework, RMIT marked my program as complete and I received my completion statement. A few days later, my completion status was revoked, I lost access to my completion documents, and I was told that I could not graduate because I still needed to complete the Engineering Professional Practice (EPP) requirement (210 hours)

As an international student, I genuinely had no idea that this was a separate graduation requirement. I don’t remember it ever being clearly explained during my studies, so finding out only after completing my degree was a complete shock.

What makes this even more confusing is that I submitted my engineering work experience documents when I applied for admission to RMIT. If the EPP requirement is mandatory and engineering work experience completed within the past three years can be counted towards it, why wasn’t my work experience assessed earlier? If those documents could have been reviewed, this issue could have been identified and resolved before I completed my degree, instead of after my completion and graduation eligibility were revoked.

It’s been really upsetting and frustrating. I honestly don’t know what to do now. I’ve contacted the EPP coordinator and the STEM Student Lifecycle team, but I still don’t have a clear solution or know what will happen next.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Were you aware of the EPP requirement before finishing your degree?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through a similar situation or has any advice. Thank you.
