Visiting MCA colleges in Pune

I'm visiting colleges in Pune offline to see what they're actually like, check the placements, and talk to seniors about their experience.

If you want to know about any particular college, feel free to comment or DM me. If I'm visiting it, I'll check it out for you.

Everyone seems confused as hell.

I got 92.93 percentile in MHT CET MCA, but that's still not enough for many of the top colleges. So now I'm looking at private MCA colleges in Pune and Mumbai, where placements aren't guaranteed either. And honestly, I still have a lot of skills to build myself.

What surprises me is that so many students are in the same situation. If you're a topper, expectations are crazy high. If you're far behind, you're struggling for opportunities. And if you're somewhere in the middle, you're stuck between both worlds.

Sometimes it feels like the average student gets squeezed from every side.

For anyone preparing for an exam in the future: either aim for the very top or have a solid backup plan. Being average can be a much tougher position than people think.

So in short :- Searching college on your own and taking your decisions is hard... You can't guess the burden that your own choice can bring on you...

Let's see what decision I am going to take... And I am going to regret it no matter which one it is....

Hope you will not

The pressure of choosing your directions

I turned 21 today… and I realized something.

Everyone in my family has slowly started treating me like an adult.

My father says things to me now that I never thought I would hear from him. He tells me what he is… and what I am. He says I can do whatever I want with my life because he doesn’t understand the world I live in anymore.

And after hearing words like that, I suddenly realized something…

My father has been treating me more like a friend ever since I turned 18.

And honestly, I cried. I still don’t fully know why.

Maybe I just wanted someone to keep telling me which direction I should walk in.

But now my father doesn’t tell me what to do or why I should do it anymore. He just reminds me to improve my way of living and become better.

And then I remembered that one scene from “Our Cycle” where the boy starts crying after his father stops calling him like a child and says, “Bada sab sambhal lega.”

Now I finally understand why he cried.

Government University MCA colleges in Maharashtra you can get at lower percentiles

I don’t know much in detail about these colleges yet, so please do your own research too. Just sharing the names I found while researching.

These might be worth considering if you’re mainly looking for:

- low fees

- government/university tag

- decent ROI over brand name

You can prefer lower tier colleges too if your main priority is saving fees and doing self-study alongside MCA.

Feel free to add reviews/corrections in comments.

Researched some MCA colleges in Pune for my percentile, thought this might help others too

I’m not an expert, so please do your own research too. These are just the colleges that felt decent/reasonable to me around my percentile.

If anyone from these colleges wants to add more information or correct something, please do.

92.93 percentile in MAH MCA CET which colleges should I target?

Hey everyone,

I got 92.93 percentile in MAH MCA CET 2026.

Profile:

- OBC category

- Maharashtra state candidate

- Financially middle-class, so ROI and placements matter a lot

Right now I don’t have strong coding skills or projects, but I’m ready to work hard during MCA.

Can anyone suggest good realistic MCA colleges I should target through CAP rounds or institute rounds?

I’m mainly looking for:

- decent placements

- affordable fees

- good environment for skill development

Mumbai/Pune both are fine.

Would really appreciate honest guidance from seniors. Thanks.
