How to remove adapter?

I’m going to cut some of this downspout off and install this downspout filter in its place. I’m going to have to deal with the beige adapter. What’s the best way to remove it? Obviously I haven’t done any of the work just yet, and can’t tell if it’s glued or friction-fit.

Help me unclog this downspout

There’s a clog of tree 💩 presumably in a bend just below this “stem” or whatever it’s called. I was able to confirm the clog is not in the actual metal downspout.
The outlet is 20ft away and the auger is having a tough time getting to it from out in the lawn.
I figured I’d cut some of the downspout off, unclog it from the stem opening, and then replace the missing piece of downspout with something removable or something with a trap, like found on Amazon.
Any reasons why I shouldn’t do that, or any alternate ideas before I cut?

Ridgid 6800 Low Oil Sensor

Needing to disconnect the low oil sensor to troubleshoot if it’s preventing the generator from starting. Thank You for helping me in another post.
I need thoughts on this photo. Everything I’ve read says oil sensor wire is yellow. But I’m curious about the thick gray one behind it. Are either of these it?

Stubborn Ridgid 6800

My rigid 6800 successfully powered the necessities of my home through a whole house connection for 12 hours this winter, then it got stubborn…
So a few weeks ago, after draining the gas, replacing all fuel lines, filter, and valve, I got it to run for 45 minutes before manually powering it down, satisfied with myself. It hasn’t worked since.
This weekend, I disassembled, cleaned, and reinstalled the carburetor which is only 1 year old. Confirmed fuel reaches the carb bowl. I put in a new spark plug yesterday for fun. The oil is brand new and very full. The gasoline is good, no ethanol. The battery is good, 1 year old.
I have run out of tricks, short of ordering another new carburetor just to see.
Does anyone have any other suggestions before I bite the bullet and hand it over to my local small engine repair shop?
