Modern Copper 3D Printed Lamp

Modern Copper 3D Printed Lamp

Just wanted to share Version 2.0 of my modern copper lamp. I’ve been trying to create something that feels clean and modern, while still showing off the unique look you get from 3D printing. The Copper PLA Silk turned out even better than I expected depending on the light, the surface almost looks like real brushed metal.

For this version I reduced the lampshade wall thickness to get a nicer light diffusion and a cleaner overall look. I also added an A1 Mini profile so it prints smoother and more reliably on smaller Bambu printers.

I really enjoyed working on the balance between the geometric shape, the soft warm lighting, and the reflective copper finish. It was one of those projects where small changes made a huge difference in the final result.

The lamp uses the Bambu Lab MH001 LED kit and gives off a warm, cozy glow that works great on a desk, shelf, or bedside table.

Pretty happy with how this one turned out 🙂

QR Reise-Deck-Begleiter

I got really into printing rugged little travel cases for my card games. Flip 7, Skyjo, UNO, that kind of stuff. Way nicer than dragging the original boxes around when you just want to play a quick round at the park or take something on holiday.

Problem is, I always end up leaving the rulebook at home with the box. And every single time, someone asks about a rule and nobody can remember. We end up googling it on someone's phone, finding a sketchy site, scrolling through ads, you know how it goes.

So I made a thing. It's basically a small playing card sized 3D print with a QR code on it that links straight to the rules PDF. Lives with the deck in the case. Scan it, get the rules, done.

It's parametric so you can pick the card size (poker, UNO/Skyjo, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc), paste your own URL, add a label with the game name, the usual stuff.

Very niche I know but figured someone else here might have the same dumb problem.

If anyone wants it, here's the link: https://makerworld.com/de/models/2777425-qr-travel-deck-companion#profileId-3086160

Feedback welcome.
