I made a kumiko patterned IKEA Skadis-style pegboard for my entryway

I wasn't satisfied with the aesthetics already out there for store bought or 3D printed Skadis panels, so I designed my own with a kumiko pattern! The panels are 200 x 240mm and are sized so that the hole patterns will be continuous if tiled together. I also made versions with all combos of holes-on-edges so large panel hole patterns are uninterrupted. I'm super pumped about how it turned out! MakerWorld link in the comments.

First design i made that utilizes the bridging function of 3d printers.

Still crazy to me that this does not need support.

KANAGAWA - Great Wave Organiser

I designed a wall organizer inspired by the famous Japanese woodblock print “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Hokusai.

I wanted to create something that combines art with functionality.
The entire wave form creates usable storage space:

  • a pocket for a wallet or glasses,
  • a smaller pocket for earbuds and small everyday items,
  • and 5 key hooks.

The organizer can be mounted on a wall or used as a freestanding desk piece after removing the key hooks.

Modern Copper 3D Printed Lamp

Just wanted to share Version 2.0 of my modern copper lamp. I’ve been trying to create something that feels clean and modern, while still showing off the unique look you get from 3D printing. The Copper PLA Silk turned out even better than I expected depending on the light, the surface almost looks like real brushed metal.

For this version I reduced the lampshade wall thickness to get a nicer light diffusion and a cleaner overall look. I also added an A1 Mini profile so it prints smoother and more reliably on smaller Bambu printers.

I really enjoyed working on the balance between the geometric shape, the soft warm lighting, and the reflective copper finish. It was one of those projects where small changes made a huge difference in the final result.

The lamp uses the Bambu Lab MH001 LED kit and gives off a warm, cozy glow that works great on a desk, shelf, or bedside table.

Pretty happy with how this one turned out 🙂

Tiny 3D-printed camera object I designed

I designed this tiny printable camera and wanted it to feel like a real little object, not just an electronics box.

It’s a working camera, but the shell and color combinations are a huge part of the fun. I wanted it to sit somewhere between toy camera, keychain object, and tiny retro gadget.

The body is 3D printed, the camera is real, and the whole thing is small enough to clip to keys.

It has 3 exterior body design shells inspired by classic cameras - SLR, Rangefinder and Instant.

I’m still testing colors and finishes. Bright contrast looks fun, monochrome looks cleaner, and the more retro combinations make it feel like a tiny camera from another timeline. The options are unlimited - I'm also playing around with fuzzy skin as faux leatherette.

Stained Glass Wind Chime (Panel Edition)

Okay so since I got the first stained glass model done, I thought I could add another with larger panels resembling narrow church stained glass windows. And since toolhead 1 decided it didn’t have any ghost filament stuck in it after all, I could do this one in 3+1 colors. What do you think?
