Im interested in getting into Timeless, but I have not played Arena in a while. I know MH3 and Strix are sets I should be filling up, but what other, if any sets are worth getting packs for? I know Edge has Strip Mine. Thanks in advance.

So let me start by saying I absolutely love Competitive Brawl. Its amazing. And difficult. And top ended with a lot of blue. But fun to play, albeit somewhat annoying. I should also point out that I have been playing mtg for a very long. I can pilot and/or tinker a deck pretty well. But when it comes to building from the ground up, I just dont have the time. To this end I end up net-decking for something to play in my style, and here lies my questions. I see a lot of decks running blue but no Painters Servant/Grindstone. I see a lot of decks running U/W with no Meddling Mage. I see almost everyone running Disruptor Flute, but almost no one running Pithing Needle. Im just curious as to why this is.

So I just started back to Arena 2 weeks ago. Havent played it in forever. Was going to take my blanks and build a Timeless deck when I got hooked on Competitive Brawl. I always loved the singleton style of brawl, and now that their is a ladder I am really enjoying Brawl again. I clawed my way through Bronze and Silver while tweaking this deck. I am currently sitting at Gold trying to hit Platinum. There are A LOT of mid-range decks out there. Slow to build but once you are locked, you are locked. I have always loved playing Black, but it has no answers to Artifacts. My current mana curve is fine, and I almost never hit to much or to little land. I am hoping the community will help me fine tune this ( I know not everyone is about helping out the competition, and thats fine)
