Grixis Delirium

Grixis Delirium

this list incorporates the idea of the mono black aggro deck that splashes blue for daze and cruise.

I love the interaction between Moonshadow and Darcy, been trying to make it work since a while. i would love some feedback and ideas/thoughts on how to get these two cards to work, what best supports them. its not the most competetive thing to be doing and im okay with that.

FOMO seems like a natural fit here, though i dont know how viable the card is in timeless. violent urge with FOMO hits for 12, testing that card.

Tarfire seems like a worthwile compromise to enable delirium. 2 damage hasnt seemed like a problem, deals with DRS, Architect and the energy threats.

one change id already make is change a blood crypt for a surveil land.

i hope soon we get Urza's Bauble.

thanks for any feedback and ideas.

Is the Mastery Pass worth it if I only want to play Timeless?

I just want to grow my collection in general without dropping too much money in the game. (I like limited as well if that's the most efficient, but I'm not sure it is, I'm sure one of you guys has this stuff figured out)

What kind of evil spell allowed this old-school MBC to function?

I originally created this deck purely out of nostalgia. [[Corrupt]], best WC in a control deck (no doubt about it, oops). The results, probably due to my matchmaking, surprised me. My win rate with the deck is good (very good) at the moment. Still in Mythic low ladder.A deckbuilding game is a deckbuilding game, I guess. Thx MTG.

Mythic with Izzet Artifacts

Hey Timeless mages,

I just reached mythic with this list, it's not perfect yet, but it definitely has stuff going for it.

It has good matchups vs eldrazi, any midrange deck (not that there are many atm lol) and combo (Show and sneak, storm, oops all spells). Special mention to the times my opponent sneaks in an emrakul only to find out the munition tokens can be sacrificed to the anihilator trigger and go face. That was super funny 😁

Vs the two elephants in the room (mardu/rw and u/b tempo it's kinda 50/50 really, if you land an early chalice or if you get a draw where you can race them with a combination of removal+kappa, you're good to go

Vs U/b, playing around bowmasters is not that hard. The real problem is the frog, sometimes you can snipe it with lithomantic barrage, but not often. And the setup with Weapons manufacturing + ravager usually takes a bit of time, enough for the frog to get away with the game.

Let me know what you would change to improve the deck !

Deck

4 Arcbound Ravager (PZA) 0

3 Chrome Mox (SPG) 0

4 Drix Interlacer (Y25) 29

2 Emry, Lurker of the Loch (ELD) 43

4 Mox Opal (SOM) 179

4 Pinnacle Emissary (EOE) 223

3 Thought Monitor (MH2) 71

4 Lithomantic Barrage (MOM) 152

4 Weapons Manufacturing (EOE) 168

4 Force of Will (SOA) 19

Titan?

First time poster, mostly a lurker, feel free to nuke this if it’s not an appropriate post for this sub!

Does anyone have any good Titan deck lists? I loved the deck when it was a menace early in Timeless, but I haven’t seen anyone play it for like two years(?) and I was sure that there would be some fun Simic or selesnya brew someones hiding somewhere! Not much of a brewer myself obviously so I’m not rly sure where to even start

Edit: realized I should probably specify [[Primeval Titan]] just to be safe and not look like a dingus

B&R Announcement - No Changes

>Timeless

>Written by Dave Finseth

>No changes

>Secrets of Strixhaven's powerful Mystical Archive has arrived in Timeless, creating the largest metagame shift we have seen since Modern Horizons 3. Thanks to Force of Will and Daze, about 20% of decks are now some variant of Blue Tempo. Though popular, this emerging deck has not been solved as it competes with the refined Show and Tell, Mardu Energy, and Reanimator strategies. We expect the popularity of this deck to settle down as it finds its place among other competitive decks.

>Hydroponics Architect is a card we will keep an eye on due to its unique interaction with Daze, but so far it seems in line with all the other unfair things you can do in the format.

Not much of a surprise, and in line with my personal take on the format. If anything, I'd like more cards introduced rather than anything removed (specifically [[Aether Vial]]).

Call of the Death-Dweller

Being able to recur an [[Orcish Bowmasters]] with a deathtouch counter and a second threat seems busted. Is 3 mana too much? Sure. But taking out an Atraxa with a single ping still feels good.

New mono red burn

Getting fairly decent wins with this but any suggestions is welcome. Most notably is me cutting [[Eidolon of the Great Revel]] because on turn two you almost always expect counterspells in this format. Changed it for [[Play with Fire]] as we do not yet have any better burn spell that is cheap.

Running two [[Barbarian Ring]] but maybe I should run more?

Work In Progress Dimir Flash Deck

I‘m going to start this off by saying this is probably not close to the optimal build for this kind of deck, but I just wanted to try out this concept.

I truly think there’s something here to be explored, so I wanted to post this. Don’t underestimate Katara. That card has snowballed almost every game where it survived a full turn cycle. It certainly feels worth building around. I think it has a pretty good matchup against the typical Ux tempo builds.

Any feedback is appreciated. This is definitely not perfect.

Also, I couldn’t get the sideboard to show in the picture without covering the lands. I’m on a pretty standard UB tempo sideboard, with Toxic Deluge to deal with the energy matchup.

To "thenameless1" : I feel you

If you're on here, I just felt so bad. You had the first turn kill. I had no force or daze. Tamiyo on board. I could tell that you just "dumb-fingered" the continue button. 😭 as an empath with fat thumbs... I'm sorry

Red Prison inna Blue Strip meta

looking for opinions / suggestions on red prison for the current blue strip meta.

currently running the below list in bo3, which is multiple iterations on an old red prison meme deck from against the odds (i think maybe last autumn) which is kinda what got me to move to timeless as the only constructed ladder format i can be bothered to play on this godforsaken app.

it's far from perfect, i tweaked it post SOS and am currently at this, which has so far got me from gold to diamond 3 in like 30ish games. But there's a lot of qs still to be answered:

- is it really worth the squelcher / chalice combo when you dont have squelcher but chalice on board and can't play your own one mana spells? so far this is maybe 25% ish percent of the time.
- are the mines (plus back up sundering sorta land destruction) worth it when it just fucks up your draws and forces mulligans. so far this is maybe 25-50% of the time. i feel like mines can go to be replaced by either more mountains or fetches to combat mines on the other side and the sundering gets dropped for something else more meaningful. i have used them a handful of times to meaningful effect but 90% of time they're a tapped land drop, a bolt land drop, or fodder for mox or fury.
- are the moxes worth it (see the above). they're only really good for turn 1 chalice, turn 1 dash ragavan or turn 1 squelcher or obviously when you're getting mined but i've already dropped them down to 2. oh they're also 2 damage for bombardiers
- not convinced on the goyf / fury package but they win games, just like 4/5 mana seems ridiculously hopeful in this meta.
- would it make more sense to build this as a sort of half burn / half prison deck and use the sideboard to switch between deck types, potentially add black for bowmasters (in which case the mines etc def go)
- the fireblast are just there cos i couldn't think of anything else, make more sense if i remove the mines and make this more prison / burn
- also not convinced the moon is worth it anymore but it works every once in a while.

Otherwise, bombardiers and squelcher are very strong and i'd say have won me the majority of games. one ring is there because card draw. fire magic, rending volley, and confluence have all been solid boarding options, dropping chalices/moons on games 2/3. matchups are what you'd imagine considering the top decks but it doesn't feel like the deck suffers against any particular archetype, it just suffers from the usual random elements of the game and probably because it's not super well tuned.

anyways any useful thoughts/feedback appreciated, and hello, good game, your turn, lands am i right? to you all.
