Anyone own the FINNALA sofa bed? How's the bed for sleeping?

Hi everyone,

I'm considering buying the IKEA FINNALA sofa bed. I've read a lot of positive comments about it as a sofa, but I'm having a harder time finding feedback on the bed itself.

For those who own one, how comfortable is it to sleep on? Would you say it's good for occasional guests only, or could someone comfortably sleep on it for several nights in a row? Is it worth getting some other product in similar range?

Any feedback on the mattress, support, comfort, or overall experience using it as a bed would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello everyone,

Just checking if anyone here is interested in **casual cricket sessions**.

I’m 28—not a complete beginner. I’ve played cricket in school before, but haven’t had many chances to play regularly since then. Trying to get back into it and just enjoy the game again.

I don’t really have friends here who play, though I sometimes go with my partner.

I usually head to **L’Amoreaux Cricket Centre (1785 McNicoll Ave)** since the nets are free and it’s a good spot for casual practice.

Nothing serious or competitive—just:

* casual nets
* friendly games
* chill weekend/evening sessions

If you already play there or are also looking for people to play with, let’s connect.

Feel free to **comment or DM me**

About PFL

During my study permit application, the agent who filed it listed my employment end date as May 2021, but in reality I continued working until August 2021. When my work permit application was submitted later, the same incorrect dates (ending May 2021) were used again.

When I prepared my PR application myself, I entered the actual dates, which meant my foreign work experience ended in August 2021. Because of the mismatch between my earlier applications and my PR application, the officer was understandably confused.

The second issue was about the company itself. I worked for a startup that was legitimate, but it didn’t have a very formal setup — no proper office space and almost no online presence. Because of that, the officer questioned why the company appeared to be operating from a residential address and why they couldn’t find much about it online. In the PFL, they basically said they believed I might be claiming fake work experience and that the company might not actually exist. I was given 7 days to respond and warned that this could be considered misrepresentation.

To respond, I gathered as much evidence as possible:

  • Updated relieving letter and reference letter from my former supervisor
  • Included their phone number, email, and LinkedIn for verification
  • Company registration documents and tax documentation
  • My full bank statements, highlighting every salary deposit from the company

I also wrote a very detailed explanation addressing everything point-by-point — basically explaining the situation as clearly as possible (almost like explaining it to a 5-year-old, but in professional language).

I didn’t hire a lawyer — not for the initial application and not for the PFL response.

In the end, everything worked out. I was honestly completely freaked out while dealing with it, but thankfully it all got resolved.
