Vacation to Sicily w/ Wife

My wife and I are 27/28 years old and have been together since high school. We got married in 2018 and have lived in a few different places in the states, but have never honeymooned. We are looking to plan a vacation this coming April, and the best thing we’ve been able to agree on is Sicily, Italy. It sounds interesting, but I could use some more convincing. Looking for some vacation advice.

Gift Ideas for Sister-in-Law that just completed the entire Appalachain Trial

My SIL just completed the AT. She started the trail after she graduated from college with her masters in some type of wildlife ecology/conservation degree. She was also a D1 track athlete during her time in college.

She’s a fairly earthy person, and also very active. She likes cozy/cottage core type stuff, and is moving into a smaller apartment with her boyfriend next week.

My wife and I are really hoping to give her a gift celebrating the completion of the AT. Maybe something that celebrates the trail, but also is a symbol of the transition happening in her life.

Let’s see whatcha got for ideas Reddit!

Bike Fit Q’s

Hi all! New to gravel biking, and fairly new to cycling in general. A few weeks go I bought my first gravel bike new from our local bike store, a Giant Contend AR 3. I love riding, and the only thing stopping me is a pain that I’ve been getting in my leg wrist on the outer (ulnar) side. I get it in my right wrist too, but it’s almost negligible.

I brought this issue to the attention of the guy that owns the bike shop and he turned the angle of my hoods in, which has helped a little. I’ve made some adjustments myself and make certain things better, but I think I’m screwing more things up than fixing them. I’m at a point now where I’m thinking the issue is either handle bar height being too low, or the stem being too long.

All this begs me to ask the question to all of you, what kind of adjustments do you guys make to a new bike when you get it stock? Do you have a system that you go bi? I’ve heard that bike fit is a constant process, but I’d like to at least start by trying fix the wrist pain and go from there!

All feedback appreciated!
