I can't believe the Emperor switched up on me RIGHT at the end :/ I went through all that trouble to get the Orphic Hammer from the House of Hope and Bozo over there didn't want me to use it? I wish I could have told him that I DID trust him, but I didn't think Orpheus deserved to get his brain eaten. But the fact that he throws his lot in with the Absolute IMMEDIATELY kinda makes me glad I chose the prince instead. After all we've been through together, you're telling me the first time I don't listen to you, you abandon me for our common enemy? These illithids be trippin for real.
Romanced Halsin, he's a sweetheart and I love him so. Completed everyone else's quests, showed the Absolute who's boss. The final fight was much easier than I thought it would be??? Like I had pretty much every faction on my side and I didn't use half of them. Just Keene's Bodyguards, really. Dame Aylin too but she didn't really help that much. I had a harder time fighting Raphael, which is why I didn't really want to have gotten the Hammer for nothing.
All in all a good time! I might start another playthrough and actually romance one of the origin characters this time lol.
