Hi…recently had a screening call followed by 2 interviews. At the end of the first interview I asked if I would hear back either way about the decision and was told “definitely \[recruiter\] will be getting back to you” so I didn’t bother to ask at the end of the 2nd interview but they told me they believed they would have a decision in 2 weeks (today is exactly 2 weeks from that interview)

2 days after the 2nd interview I received a call from the recruiter and she told me I was in high consideration and she thinks they would have a decision by early next week (which would have been last week)

I’ve heard nothing, I emailed the recruiter on Thursday to ask about an update and got crickets.

They are hiring 5 people so I thought I had a decent chance, but I’m assuming I’m not one of their 5 picks.

I just don’t understand like don’t call me and tell me I’m in high consideration then??? I just wanna know if I got the job 😭 and ghosting just seems so cruel to do in this scenario

Hi! I will be staying outside of st tropez in Grimaud next month and am working on trying to find reliable transportation to the Nice airport. I’m really not looking to do bus or train but I’m looking at taxis and uber/bolt (so pls don’t recommend train/bus lol)

I have a 10am flight so I’m looking at a 6am pickup…bolt and uber seem to have cheaper options than reserving a car through a taxi service, but are the rideshare apps reliable enough? I just don’t want to be stranded when I have a flight to make!

Any help would be appreciated :)

Hello cautious BBers! Reddit reminded me today was my cake day - which reminded me that I created this new account, because I could not get pregnancy related subs or posts off my algorithm on my old account, and it was very upsetting as I had an early MC in January of 2025 and had been TTC since that loss.

When I did finally get a positive at the end of July 2025, it was a vvvvvfl and was so faint that the only indication of me possibly actually being pregnant and giving me hope was my period being 3 days late. When I had gotten pregnant in January, my period was one day late and the line was very dark, so I was feeling like this couldn’t be real.

I got my betas checked every other day and felt like they were pretty low, they were doubling, but not at the rate that I wanted to see, and not so much that my provider felt comfortable having me stop going to get them checked. I went on reddit and saw so many people with similar levels who only had sad updates to provide, that it ended up being ectopic or an early loss. I saw 1 or 2 updates with positive outcomes so I told myself if this ends up working out, then I am coming back to tell the tale so you don’t drive your mom and your partner insane for the first 8 weeks.

15dpo: 53
17 dpo: 123
19 dpo: 265
22 dpo: 727
29 dpo: 5159 (I had gone out of town and had to wait a week between tests)

The person on the phone at the office told me they couldn’t usually see anything on US until hcg was 10k but I begged to be seen.

I was measuring about 9 days behind (which made sense because I ovulated on day 23) but there was a heartbeat (HR was a little low around 110 I believe, but because I was measuring less than 6 weeks, they were not concerned) I just couldn’t believe there was a heartbeat after reading all the negative stories 🥹

No complications, always measured perfectly at all follow-ups - you got this my low hcg girlies!!

Fast forward to now I am cuddling my 5.5 week old boy and he is perfect 🩵

Hang in there guys, there is hope!

EDIT: also forgot to mention that I did have some spotting right when I was leaving for my trip (between 22 and 29 dpo)…this was probably the scariest part of the whole ordeal, but ended up being nothing and we attributed it to me going on the peloton right before…so I recommend avoiding doing bike exercises so you don’t scare yourself for no reason 😂
