I can't say I am surprised, this happens far more often than people would like to admit, I feel for all of these children. Imagine finding out your father abandoned you and your mother and told your mother to just abort you.

There seriously needs to be a change in mindset in Asia, people need to stop enabling these scumbags.

I am honestly at a loss for words, I know for a fact this guy is not the only one doing stuff like this. The white supremacy mindset is set deep into a lot of Asian countries culturally, with equating Success, Money and influence with European/White people.

I had to have a talk with a cousin of mine as well, to tell her to not blindly date some guy just because he is white. Her reasoning was literally "Wouldn't it be cool to have a white Husband". Seriously getting headaches from bullshit like this.

Especially normal White-Asian couples would profit from shit like this stopping, fetish relationships of any kind do no good and usually end up harming the children who have to navigate the fucking mess their parents left behind.

God help these children, they will need it.

This is a video about a running club in Bali, apparently they have no regard for the locals and block the streets, that locals have to use to commute to work. Also no locals are allowed to participate in their runs.

One of the top comments by a fellow mixed person reads as follows:

It’s interesting because I’m half Indonesian although I don’t look like it to most westerners. So I get to hear comments all the time disparaging Indonesians. I’ve even been speaking to someone that had said something along the lines of “they’re so ugly” when talking about Indonesians. When I pointed out that I was Indonesian their response was “yeah but you’re only half” .. completely oblivious to the fact that if I’m half one of my parents is whole. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This attitude is not exclusive to Bali, I have seen neo colonialism taking place in a lot of places in Southeast Asia.

Infrastructure or activities being created but the locals are excluded from using them outright or not able to because of poverty.

This shit makes me sick to my stomach, this is no different than what happened during colonialism.

They just put a cute little Digital Nomad swing on it and don't state it openly in public how much they look down on the local population.

Southeast Asia needs a French revolution, otherwise its doomed to repeat its fate under colonialism.

Just a personal rant. I am playing on console and have been playing flex from bronze until GM3.

At a certain point, mainly Diamond, I am getting constantly flamed and blamed for the team losing even if I am not the one to blame.

Think people playing Magneto, Rogue, and Daredevil into Dino and Angela and not even getting past the first choke on the Lower Manhattan map. Constantly focusing the tanks instead of going for the backline. Somehow they decided it's the healer's fault while not even considering trying to go left instead of main.

Other classics include me and the other tank getting blasted to smithereens by a cyclops & Wolverine team-up while our dive duelists struggle to get a single pick. Then proceed to blame the tanks and supports for getting crushed while not doing anything.

I just don't understand what goes on in these people's minds; they usually complain while at the same time not wanting to switch off their Duelists main themselves. It led to me becoming so tilted that I even threw a game after someone purposefully banned Elsa when I wanted to pick her and instalock duelists themselves.

I love Marvel comics, and I like the game since I also liked Overwatch back in the day, but I am really contemplating if this game is worth it. The immaturity of people has a bad influence on me. I don't even mind playing tank most games, even if it is not fun all the time. I just hate how toxic they are towards the people who allow them to play and have their little main character syndrome going on. Because God knows how many dive players I have enabled with Mag bubbles while I got completely violated by the enemy tanks and DPS while solo tanking.

I always ask myself if those people treat people like this in a video game, how will they treat others in real life if they don't get their way?

I hope sometime in the future they are actually going to buff tanks or make it more rewarding because there is no way duelists always deserve to receive more points and lose fewer points than a solo tank.

I also do not understand what happened this patch; sure, there were toxic people, but the amount I have been flamed this season while playing tank is insane. The same people then think they will do a better job (they do not) and proceed to not realize maybe the tank(s) was not the issue why we were losing in the first place.

Just a personal rant, but had to get it off my chest; might take a break from the game as a whole. Way too old to stress over a video game.
