Is it even possible? I feel like every comedy I've watched drops the ball at some point and stops being funny after a certain number of seasons.

This might be a hot take but there is just no future in mobile games. I know Angry Birds is like the icon of mobile (or at least used to be) but it's become such an embarrasing platform. The only way to be financially viable is to prey on gambling addicts and kids who don't know any better. It's not how you build a franchise. Compared to actual video games, freemium mobile games are the equivalent to hookers, Angry Birds 2 being the worst example of this. I find it baffling that the Nintendo Switch is the most successful handheld console of all time, has touch screen controls, and yet there is not one Angry Birds game on there. If Rovio was smart, they'd bring back their older games, touch them up a bit, remove the micro transactions, and sell them on the eshop for $10-$20. How can you expect to grow a franchise when the games that put you on the map are no longer available?
