The amazing Kirkland cottage cheese is always sold out so I buy the Danica Nordica instead as a consolation price. But ugh, how terrible is this stuff?! Bland, gloopy, sort of sweet. It’s just cottage cheese, how can they make it so bad?!!

I know cottage cheese is having a thing right now on social media about being versatile and high protein and good macros (all true), so it’s in high demand, but please please please get more Kirkland back in the supply!

I have truly loved my visits to Mexico and have landed on Guadalajara next. Looking at two weeks beginning October. first week with another buddy, second likely solo.

I am into history, music, arts, live music, agave spirits, deep foodie topics like how it’s grown/made/eaten/history like tepache, tortillas hecho a mano, salsa macha, and tacos de cabeza lol.

Normally i do a week, but it ends up being gogogo with no relaxation or hanging out days. so I’d like to build some of that into this trip.

some time or a day trip at water would be great - the nearby lakes or river?

What do you suggest for must-see tourist things, and ideas for the rest of my wishlist? any unique spots or tours to check out?

my Spanish is rusty but ok for getting by. prefer not to rent a car.

I will probably do a condo rental for half and one of the boutique historic hotels for the other.
