Anxious!

So I’m 32 and I’ll be getting a wisdom tooth extracted this Wednesday. It’s only one thankfully. Other ones were removed when I was a teen. Well anyways I have been under twilight sedation for a colonoscopy/endoscopy. And I was under something as a teen when I got them removed before.

But honestly when i called to ask what type of sedation bc I’m nervous she said fully under. She said versed/fentanyl combo and another name too I can’t recall maybe propofal? Anyways I’m imagining the worst bc I hate lack of control and idk what fully under feels like or how I’ll be after 😖 just seeking words of encouragement if anyone has had exact situation. Thanks guys…

Bumbly just got his first bath 🛀

I have had this bubbly bear like two years. He gets slept with nightly and very well loved and snuggled. I was super scared to wash him admittedly until I seen posts about how to do it properly. So I did! His hair is a bit frizzy prob from wear. But still loved! 🥰

Advice please

32 female- so I one of my dental visits maybe like seven months ago roughly or so I was told that I had an impacted partially impacted wisdom tooth coming in, and I could feel that it was starting to come in because the skin started to kind of separate. I was getting like lymph node pain on that side of my ear and just things like that and you know months later, I’m not dealing with as much of the pain like I think it stopped growing. It’s just there you can kind of feel a little bit of a crack, but I don’t think it’s wide-open.

Anyways, I got an appointment consultation with oral surgery and they called me and asked if I would want to do sedation. I have done sedation for wisdom, tooth extractions when I was like 16. Because there was multiple like two to take out and this is my last one because one grew in fine and this one’s just saying stagnant under the skin. I don’t know if it’s ever gonna come in. They told me you probably wouldn’t because of my age. I’ve had teeth extracted with just numbing and I was fine, but I was gonna ask for a little bit of advice. This is the way back and it’s the bottom wisdom tooth. They said I could do laughing gas, and then the IV sedation, but all that does make me pretty nervous even though I’ve had it before. I definitely don’t want the laughing ass because I get panic attacks when I feel high.

Basically my question is should I do it without anesthesia? What you guys’s advice? I’ve never had a wisdom tooth taken out with just numbing. Also, is there a chance I could leave it alone and just let it stay in my mouth instead of trying to mess with it at all? Thanks!

Help!

32 year old female whose struggled with low ferritin for a long time. So I was working with an integrative medicine doctor for the last couple years who effectively did help me come out of really low iron by doing a regimen of two blood builder pills every other day.

Recently, I figured since my levels had gone up a little bit that I would take a break with the iron and it was a bad decision because the iron dropped in my carton dropped a little bit. I believe my ferritin is around 22 right now and my iron is like 55. It was in the 90s my iron and 27 for my ferritin before I took the break. I am now back doing the two blood builders every other day. But I really wanna effectively change my diet to where I can also raise it in that way and hopefully get off iron pills eventually.

I do have a heavy cycle every month so that doesn’t help.

If anyone has effectively raised their iron with diet, could you give me some tips of a regimen I can stick to weekly of certain foods, etc. to do this. I’m also addicted to caffeine and I realize that that’s a problem when it comes to low iron as well. Thanks guys!!

Question

32 f so around march I went in for another oral issue and on a xray a dentist seen I had a partially impacted wisdom tooth coming in and suggested I get it removed. Wasn’t bothering me too much just a flap I can feel and then on and off jaw pain but the worst part is the on and off for a few days at a time ear pain. Which I’ve had the last couple days and now it’s calming down. I am hoping it doesn’t become infected bc I had a temp of 99 and almost felt some chills but weather hasn’t been great either.

Isssue is the place that I can go to for an oral surgery won’t be able to get me in for a consult until August and then I would be looking at the extraction September or October, which is obviously very far away. I called them again and they put me on a cancellation list but I don’t suspect that I’ll be getting in any sooner and then the other place in town charges $1000 per tooth. So I don’t have any options right now. What can I do? In the meantime to prevent infection I have been starting to do saltwater rinses and then obviously trying to brush as much as possible. I really don’t wanna get on antibiotics because I had to be on them quite a few times over the year due to other teeth issues. Thanks in advance!
