I've been a YNAB and LiquidBudget user. I am looking at using the non zero-based style for a period while our cashflow isn't suiting the zero-based style.
Any recommendations for normal budgeting apps? Ideally they're free or very small fee. Website is preference over smartphone apps.
They're removing offshore service margins, a late payment fee and in 2027 they intend to drop from 55 days interest free to 44.
The fee increase is fairly big. A single card holder goes from $80 per year to $125. If you've got a joint card this goes from $110 to $170.
I'm really starting to question the value of Southern Cross with the continued increases, even when we have the maximum excess we can have.
Last year our work dropped WB2 cover to WB1, we decided to keep it because the specialist rules on WB1 feel pointless, so we added an excess. This dropped the premium from ~$250 per fortnight to $101 for my top up, the kids and my wife. I've now just got notice of this going to ~$120 per fortnight.
With kids getting such good proactive treatment in the public system and my wife and I at a low-risk age (30s) I think we might just drop it.
Anyone else getting sick of this?

First games are always tough, but non-test matches are even harder to pick because they're so rare. I looked up when the last one was and it was in 2017 against the French XV.
Who I think will get a run against the Stormers who hasn't been selected much or at all in the last 3: Parker, Norris, Holland, Preston, Jacomb and Reiko.
Who I think will get rested: Jordan, Love, Roigard, Taylor, Va'ai, Lord, Jacobsen.
This leaves the door open for guys like Samisoni, Patty, Segner, Sititi, Beaudy and Ratima to all start, mixed in with combinations to keep playing like Jordie and Quinn. Love is also potentially rolled out again and again at 10.
What do you think it will look like and what balance between senior vs rookies?
I've always found the mundaneness and relative oddity of the scenes with Fabienne enjoyable. I remember being 16 and thinking she was incredibly cute. I also appreciate the interplay between Willis and de Medeiros.
I don't agree that she is the weak link in the movie. While I can see the argument that she could have been played by someone else, I don't believe that casting someone stronger or more impactful would serve the point of the scene. The mismatch of the unexpected, meek, and forgetful cute girlfriend of a burly boxer seems to be deliberate.
If anything, the weak link in the movie has always felt to me like the scenes with The Wolf and Tarantino.
What does everyone else think?
Just because 9-midnight might be free or weekends or overnight are lower cost it doesn't mean that you are getting a cheaper bill in total.
I calculated that 33% of our power consumption would need to be in the overnight period to make it cheaper than just paying the flat rate. We'd struggle to even get to 20% when moving as much as possible to this time.
Would've been better if the Reds beat the Chiefs last week but how good to see the Crusaders pummeled?!
