did my endocrinologist make a mistake or am i confused

Diagnosed with graves and TED in Jan 2025 and was put on methimazole. Had eyelid retraction surgery on my left eye in dec 25. My endo took me off methimazole in feb 26 after my t3 and t4 levels were back within range, but my TSI levels skyrocketed after stopping the meds.

Now I’m worried that my right eye (which had been stable until now) is beginning to protrude. My understanding is that TSI is what can attach to the tissues behind the eyes, causing inflammation.

Does methimazole lower the TSI levels or does it mostly impact t4 and t3? I’m worried she took me off of it too soon and I’m just so sad and frustrated.

what were your symptoms before cutting out gluten?

Just looking for people’s before/after stories of how being gluten free impacted their wellbeing. How long did it take to notice a change?

i keep failing at being gluten free...help!

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder last year, and my endocrinologist recently recommended cutting out gluten. I was strict about it for almost 3 weeks, and honestly did feel better. But then I caved (I work at a place where someone brings in desserts every week and I have the most powerful sweet tooth!). I've tried and failed a handful of times to stick to the diet, and I feel discouraged. Does anyone have advice for how to adjust?

Does anyone else struggle with GI symptoms they never had before diagnosis? I have Graves disease and TED (diagnosed Feb 2025), and for the past six months have really been struggling with bloating, etc- things I've never dealt with before. My endocrinologist suggested cutting out gluten but I'm being stubborn. Anyone have experience or advice?
