Beefing with Jack White? Who does Charley think he is?
My check engine light turns on randomly and wont allow me to use cruise control when this happens. I went to autozone to get a code reading and he said the cause was my catalytic converter. How can I fix this?
Am I completely cooked? Or is there a way I can get back out there and get my medcert? Anyone else that has gone through this, I would really appreciate some advice
BNSF forced me to give them consent to contact my current employer so they can get my drug and alcohol testing history. That is no problem but I would very much not prefer for my current employer know Im trying to leave for greener pastures because I may end up fired if that happens. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did they contact your employer prior to you leaving? Any advice or first hand experience would be appreciated

What all did you have to do during the medical exam?
Im in the background and medical phase of my conditional offer and they are asking for a lot of information about my current employer (job offer letter, address and phone numbers.) My current employer would not be too happy to hear I’m currently trying to leave for a new opportunity and they might even fire me for it. Anything can happen and BNSF could fall through so I just want to make sure I dont end up jobless and broke going through this process.
Temple, TX Yard
I have an interview for conductor trainee and was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect? Or if theres anything I can do to prepare.
Yard vs road conductor. How does that work? Do they make you pick after training and is one job harder to get? Seems like people would be fighting for those yard jobs.
For anyone who has recently done the medical review, what did that all entail?
I understand training is 15 weeks but I was wondering how much of that training is away from your hiring station.
Any advice and information would be appreciated.
I have been working for a small reconditioning transformer plant for about two months now and was wondering how to progress further into this career. The plant manager hired me to get my foot in the door, as I have no prior transformer tech experience. I have been working as the Single Phase Pad Mount Tech and I really do love the work and find transformers fascinating. I picked it up very quick and they are already talking about getting me on 3 phase units in a couple months. But I want to go further than that. Like becoming a journeyman in controls, relay tech or maybe becoming testing engineer. What steps should I be taking in the coming years to achieve this?
That article is a wild read. This is literally like something out of the Sopranos. Didn’t even know stuff like this existed in Unions today. Dont get stuck in that Union brothers n sisters. They are taking advantage of yall.
The way the Avalanche dominated all season, to dominating the first two rounds of the playoffs to getting immediately swept by a Vegas team that had full control the entire series. Crazy.
