Job advice

This is a two parter question, the first part is for my Utah specific car sales specialists.

Question 1. I currently have a job offer with a Tim Dahle dealership that would be a long commute for me (about 50 minutes). I’m also interviewing with a young dealership today that’s much closer, however, my friend that’s been in car sales for a lot of years told me he would NEVER work for a young dealership again, so I’m hoping to find some other perspective and see if everyone has had the same experience with Young dealerships. I would much rather that 15 minute commute, but don’t want to start my car sales journey working for a bad dealership

Question 2. I’m coming from a job with flexible hours, because of this, I currently don’t have a solid childcare plan in place. With the more set hours that comes with car sales, I’m trying to get more consistent childcare in place, but I do have 3 days this month I simply cannot be at work. Would explaining this clearly and asking for those days off this month when the offer me the job, while also making a point of the fact that I’m actively seeking consistent childcare, reflect super poorly on me? Unfortunately I don’t really have a choice, but I’m looking for the best way to say it.

Thank you all in advance!

My wallet had been missing for two days, found it with some extra bite marks…

This little bastard 😭😭

I’ve been keeping him and his brother downstairs during the day (with plenty of toys and water) while I’m at work because it stays so much cooler down there. Seems like he accidentally locked himself in this bedroom and wasn’t having it 🤣
