How do I live out hating the sin and not the sinner?

hi everyone, 15M here. Ive been reading through Roman’s, and I came across a verse that condemns homosexuality, but I’ve been wondering, how do I live out still loving the person? It feels wrong to me to say I love and care for them, while also saying there love is a sin. Which is something that God hates. I see a lot of posts regarding lgbtq and I want to make sure I can still do my best to represent Jesus if I decide to comment on any of them. thanks for any advice you can give me!

A Quick Reminder I Think We All Need

In a world where LGBTQ topics are heavily discussed among Christians, we need to remember that we are still called to love other people, no matter who they are or what opinions they hold. Every person is still a human being made in the image of God.

I’ve seen many stories of Christians hating LGBTQ people or telling them they can’t go to heaven. First of all, no human being can determine someone’s salvation, that authority belongs to Jesus Christ alone.

We need to normalize treating people with genuine love, kindness, and care. That doesn’t mean everyone will agree on every issue, but it does mean we should reflect Christ in the way we treat others.

I hope you all have a wonderful day. God bless :)

I saw a video about it, so I decided to check out this subreddit, and honestly… some of y’all have gone through horrible things. Not in a judgmental way, I’m genuinely amazed by the strength people have.

Some people here have experienced trauma, abuse, SA, loss, anxiety, depression, and still wake up every morning and keep going. That takes so much strength to do, frankly I struggle to just roll out of bed in the morning. You guys are amazing

And I just want you to know that you are seen. People do care about you, even if it doesn’t always feel like it. Your struggles are real, your pain matters, and your life is just as valuable as anyone else

Celebrate the small wins. Seriously. Getting out of bed, going to school/work, talking to someone, making it through another day, all of those things matter.

You deserve kindness, healing, and support. I’m wishing all of you the best. The world can be harsh sometimes, but I hope things get better for you.
