Is 13k MAD enough to live comfortably in Casablanca at 26?

Hi everyone,

I’m 26M and I’m about to start a new job in Casablanca with a 13k MAD/month.

I’ve just found a shared apartment for 3k MAD/month, all inclusive (rent + utilities, etc.), which seems like a pretty good deal to me.

For those living in Casablanca, especially people around my age:

Would 13k MAD be enough to live comfortably as a single 26yo ?

I’m not looking for a luxurious lifestyle, but I’d like to:

- Have a decent social life (restaurants, cafés, going out occasionally)

- Take care of myself and buy clothes/gym/etc.

- Save some money every month

- Still have some room for unexpected expenses.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know a good café around Abdelmoumen, Zerktouni, or Maarif where I can work late at night (from 10 PM onwards)?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I’ll soon be starting a role in banking finance, and I’m currently trying to deepen my understanding of bank financial modelling.

I’m looking for resources, courses, books, templates, or real-case examples.

My goal is to build a practical understanding of how banking institutions are analysed and modelled from a finance perspective before starting the role.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I’ll soon be starting a role in banking finance as a Business financial controller, and I’m currently trying to better understand the business and how things work internally within banks.

I’m looking for any useful resources, advice, or learning materials that could help me.

I’d really like to build a solid understanding of the banking environment, both from a finance and business perspective.

Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
