23F starting Semalix, need advice

Hi everyone,

I’m a 23-year-old female, 160 cm tall, and currently weigh 183 lbs.

My doctor recently prescribed Semalix, and I’ll be starting at 0.25 mg once weekly for the first month, then increasing to 0.5 mg weekly from month two.

I’m excited to begin this journey, but also a little nervous. I’d love to hear from people who have already gone through it and learn from your experiences.

A few questions:

- What were the biggest changes you noticed when you first started?

- How much weight loss can I realistically expect over the coming months?

- Did your hunger naturally decrease, or did it take some time before you started eating less?

- How long did it take before you noticed appetite suppression?

- Do you have any tips for avoiding or minimizing nausea and other side effects?

- Is there anything you wish you had known before starting?

I’d really appreciate any advice, experiences, or tips you can share. Thank you! 😊

How are people moving abroad or landing high-paying remote jobs without doing a Masters

Currently based in Bangalore and feeling a bit stuck career-wise.

I've been trying to improve my compensation and explore opportunities abroad or in fully remote roles, but the market has been much tougher than I expected. I don't really want to do a Master's or MBA, and I'm not interested in spending a huge amount of money just to get a visa pathway.

I've also been actively upskilling, especially around the latest AI trends and technologies, to stay relevant to where the industry is headed. Despite that, landing a genuinely good opportunity still feels surprisingly difficult.

At this point, I'm not even limiting myself to remote work—I'd be happy to work in-office as well if the role pays well and helps me build some savings. I've also noticed that there don't seem to be many contract-based opportunities compared to what I expected.

For those who have successfully made this transition, what actually worked for you? Looking for practical advice and real experiences rather than generic "just keep applying" suggestions.
