What is one degree that’s quite general and is open to a lot of career pathways?

I’m currently in NS and am trying to figure out what I want to do with my life and future career but I’m not sure what to do despite thinking about it for a long time. Fortunately or unfortunately I’m stuck in the army for another 1 year plus and have another 2 windows to apply for Uni. I already got accepted into NTU comp science but I’m really not sure whether I want to do it as a career because I suck at coding and I think competition will be tuff with all the millions of geniuses competition for like limited job openings. Idk whether I should stick to a general engineering degree or do a degree that’s related to the finance world like accounting or BA.

On the other hand, I’ve also seen people with psychology degrees landing jobs in the finance sector and I’m really not sure how they did it. Hence, I wanted to hear some opinions/advice from the working adults in Singapore.

How can I use the 2 years of NS to improve my chances for Uni application

I got 61.25rp for PCMe and I want to improve my chances of getting into my desired courses specifically the school of computing in NUS. I want to enter NUS because it’s my dream school and I want to do my parents proud, I already got into NTU school of computing but the reputation across the sub Reddit and other NTU students seem to be vv shit. I want to improve my chances of entering NUS school of computing, how can I do so? I’m also currently in command school for a combat unit.

What counts as insomnia ?

Lately ever since pro term started, I have been trying to fall asleep hard but to no avail, every night my heart will suddenly get more pumped and my mind will start to get restlessness. I’m not sure whether it’s because of anxiety or what other reason?

I want to know what counts as insomnia before going to the MO but the lack of sleep has been really affecting my training and mood(feel more sleepy/ depressed).

Anyone with low 60rp gotten any NUS acceptance?

I applied for NUS CHS data science and analytics and engineering with no declared major. I got 61.25rp, but a lot of my peers has already gotten their acceptance into NUS. Just wanted to ask whether people around my score has received any acceptance/rejection letters from NUS?

And does NUS send out rejection letters?
