Root Powder+Water Prop

In an attempt to save my beautiful emerald peperomia, I decided to attempt propagating in a few ways. Somehow, the root powder and water propagation seems to be working the best?! Figured I’d share this little win and see if it has worked for anyone else before. This was truthfully the one I cared least about as it seemed to never work. I dumped a bunch of rooting powder into some clean water and placed it in sunlight. About a month later and the leaves are healthy+ rooting!

When should I repot into soil?

And ignore the terrible nails LOL

overwatered— advice please!!

The drainage hole on my peperomia was blocked and now she’s overwatered. I’m trying to propagate it a few different ways, but any tips would be appreciated. this is my favorite plant & im heartbroken so any help would be appreciated!

ive repotted the main plant, but im afraid this + peperomias not liking to be repotted is going to be rough to come back from :/

1 trying water prop

2 root hormone on the leaves and planted a few

3 Root hormone on leaves and leaf cuttings with root hormone

4 before 🥲

wondering if i should cut off a stem and use some root powder to see if i could save it too. does it seem too far gone?

what is enough research exp?

title, I have 2.5 years of two undergrad labs, two posters, no pubs and postgrad I’m going to have 6 months of research exp.

I really hate the current group I’m in, and I want to quit. do I have enough? or will quitting be detrimental for me?

for context, I want to do a clinical psych PsyD or PhD

TIA!

Applying to Clinical Psych PsyD/PhD programs this upcoming cycle.

Currently 5 months into a 12 month research position and I want to quit once I hit the 6 month mark. It doesn’t align with my interests in general (which I could look past I guess), but the staff all seem so uninterested in it all. The PIs are so far detached, and the other senior RAs don’t really seem to know or care what we are doing/why/etc. To be frank— I absolutely hate it. There also aren’t any chances of being included on a publication, which isn’t a massive deal, but if I could be included on one I would be more inclined to stay.

My question is: if I quit at the 6 month mark, how bad is that for my apps? If I quit, I forfeit a LOR, but I think I can get strong ones from current professors and previous research mentors. I don’t want to look like a quitter, but it’s essentially unbearable atp.

Here are some of my stats if relevant:

GPA:

Undergrad: Neuroscience GPA: 3.2,

Masters: MA Counseling GPA: ~3.9 (about halfway through it)

Past Research:

-2.5 years undergrad RA in a memory research lab

-2 years undergrad RA in a brain injury neuropharmacology lab

-Received a small grant for research for neuropharmacology lab & presented a poster for it.

-Co-author on poster presented at national conference

Other Experience

-Through my masters program I will be completing a 100hr practicum and 600hr internship (will have 100 practicum hours and ~300 internship hours at time of applying)

tldr; I hate my research internship and want to quit, but I’m afraid it’ll kill my chances in the upcoming cycle. help 🥲
