As Halloween approaches I’ve been trying to look for different things to do because I want to go out for a change, but I don’t have anywhere to go or plan with so I was wondering if anyone has ideas!
They always took the most beautiful photos during rehearsals, I’m gonna miss this so much😭
are these worth buying now or should i wait for a different sale. i feel like i always buy things and then better deal comes out right after i buy it💀
not a huge haul but i’m so excited to see everything in person!
all 3 are in stock so grab then while you can! (40oz only)
i went to victoria’s secret yesterday, and i currently have the double shine strap thong in coconut white. i wanted the cradle shine strap push up bra in coconut white but it’s been sold out in my size so i haven’t gotten it. when i was at vs yesterday, i found the bra in the pic above in my size 34B, but i’d never seen it before. it was a match to my thong so i decided the $75 on the tag would be worth it, and then when it got scanned it came down to $21! i was trying to look for it in the app after i bought it because if i knew it was an option, i would have bought it awhile ago. but i kept trying to use the filter options to find it and it never showed up in the searches.
then i looked it up on google, and i found a link to it on the vs website (the screenshot above). according to the site, 34D is the only size left and it can’t be ordered from any stores (i put in multiple locations), and shipping is the only option. then when i search up this specific bra in the app, it shows up but only if i search it up with its name. does anyone know why that is? i’m surprised i was able to find this in a size that’s apparently sold out and can barely be found in the app. and i didn’t see it in any of the sales sections either. does this happen a lot?
this is the bombshell add-2-cups gradient shine strap push-up bra
i didn’t know which flair to put this under so mods feel free to change it to what’s appropriate!
i’ve only ever gotten sweats, hoodies, leggings, robes from vs so i decided to order something a little more fun. i’ve never spent this much on a bra or underwear so hoping it’s worth it!🖤 (if i like it i have my eye on like 2-3 more)
i normally refuse to check the children’s section for clothes, but i today i finally caved. i’ve been on the lookout for shorts for awhile now as the weather is starting to get hot, and i still haven’t found anything! either the 00s are sold out, or too big depending on where i go.
i decided to try target today since i’ve failed elsewhere, and their 00s were too big around my hips. so i was eyeing the children’s section because at that point i had no choice and i decided to take a few mediums and larges (and an extra large) because obviously kids sizing is different than adult sizing. and when i tell you they wouldn’t get past my thighs, i’m so serious. the extra large made it all the way up, but the button wouldn’t snap around my waist. so as usual, i left empty handed.
it got me thinking though, why on earth to people tell us to “just shop in the kids section”? i might be short but i still have curves and adult-like proportions. i’m still in a woman’s adult body and i should be able to shop for adult clothing. people that say that also don’t consider that at some point, we sized out of children’s clothing. i remember literally being in late middle school and early high school, growing out of my kid’s clothes and having to shop at more adult like stores for clothes. my body’s stayed the same but somehow i’m having to try to size back into kid’s clothes, and people think that makes sense? if i grew out of kid’s clothes and suddenly without my body changing i’m having to even consider going back to kid’s clothes again, there’s a sizing issue. i was wearing 0’s and smalls, extra smalls at the smallest in clothes, and even some mediums when i started wearing more grown clothes. now somehow with my body barely changing, i’m an xxs and 00 and even then sometimes i either can’t find what i need because it’s sold
out or doesn’t fit.
if anyone has any shorts recommendations please let me know! i’m 5’1” and 100lbs!
seeing as it’s now been 27 years since the release, i thought this would be a fun discussion💛
