Hi! I’m very new to art and have been primarily working with oil pastels. Right now I’m keeping things simple and focusing on minimalistic pieces.
One idea I’m working on is a gloomy room with a door in the distance that has no doorknob. The light is shining through the edges of the door, suggesting there’s an exit, but no apparent way to reach it or get out.
I’d really appreciate any feedback or suggestions regarding color theory, shadows, making it more realistic. Anything really. I’m completely open to critique and would love to learn. Thank you!
