La Chosita… hidden gem in newy

Here to share one of my favourite spots in newy since returning and settling down up here.

If you haven’t paid a visit, you will need to at La Chosita. Just next to Saint and moon on Maitland road in Islington/hamilton.

Since returning from South America and missing the energy, culture, vibe, people, laughs, music…(you can tell I left half my soul in South America). Jason ( the owner) and his amazing cooking will give it to you without spending 3k+ on a plane ticket.

Sorry not advertising but thought to share the love. If you’ve been let me know your thoughts.

It would be cool if salsa socials that happen on mondays at the exchange took place here !

If you were in a Virgo Cluster galaxy today, and you had a telescope powerful enough to study the Earth, you would be able to see the prehistoric reptiles. Is this true and how?

Hi all, I’ve heard this a few times in my life and always pondered the question how can this be true. And now I’m suddenly researching and reading scientific material on it. However the language of material is hard to understand or I just don’t know how to read that sort of material, lol.

Space has always fascinated me and I tend to watch and read things here and there. Now I’m taking this fascination seriously, so I guess I’m starting with this question.

What are your thoughts and explanations, really love to hear!

Apologies if I sound junior it’s my first post to this sub and not very academic in this area but love to learn.
