My fans started to make this irritating noise only at certain angles (like the angle i need it -_-) but also stops then i touch it slightly?
What could be causing it and how do i fix this? can i fix it?

My fan is slowly giving out on me, from an irritating whirring sound to sounding like its struggling. Either way its on its way out.
This is a big problem for me. I struggle to regulate my body temperature, and over heat very easily, so the fan stays on basically all the time.
Now before anyone says to get an air conditioner or air cooler, im off to uni in september. I cannot have an air con or cooler, but i should be allowed a fan.
Can anyone suggest or recommend me a good pedastal fan with multiple speed settings, can tilt and has a remote control? One thats actually affective in the summer heat as well as general use??? Theres SO many different types out there, and i wanna be sure im getting one that people agree work instead of just the average joe reviews. Google also just seems to reccommend me dyson fans which i do NOT wanna spend £300-600 on.
So if you got a good fan you recommend, pleaseee tell me and link it.
