Before I post anything, I end up checking the rules multiple times, making sure the flair is correct, searching to see if it's been posted before, proofreading everything, and wondering if I'm about to accidentally break some hidden rule.
Then I finally hit "Post," and the first reply is sometimes "wrong flair" or "this belongs in another subreddit.
Is this just part of learning Reddit, or does everyone feel this way when they're new?
Any tips for making sure I'm posting in the right place the first time?
i got a dm from a guy who said medical and school bills hit him hard and hes short on capital. he said hes a trader and offered a profit split if someone backs him so he can trade until he clears the fees. he promised full transparency.
when i asked more he admitted he already lost 13700 that was meant for school fees. his parents dont even know. he deferred school but never told them. he said he still feels he has the skills and was just over ambitious last time.
i told him not to do it because i was in a similar spot myself not long ago. he still kept asking if theres any other way i could help because hes down bad.
im not giving him money but i wanted to ask how you guys would reply in this situation. has anyone dealt with someone who lost money that wasn't risk capital and then started asking strangers for more money to trade with?
any advice on what to say would help
