Planning to make a Greek legend type thing. Any suggestions?

Always liked the Greek heros age aesthetic that exists kind of without time and with really tenuous space and I’m kind of sick of Tolkien esque fantasy. This really is perfect for WorldBox too I think.

Also, I want to push WorldBox to its limits. Been experimenting with different stuff and I want to see just how far I can take it if I don’t conform to the usual mountains, forests and lakes in different biomes.

So any ideas for what else I could do?

Do you guys not rename?

Seeing people posting screenshots and maps, it’s made me realise that most of you guys leave the names of people and villages as they are. I rarely make up names, but I always edit the random mess of letters into something coherent, I like to be able to atleast say the names in my head. So, what’s going on, do you guys just not do that?

Some stuff in an 8,000 year old world

*1- Ruins of a Cold Ones village. They went away with the age of ice
*2- Monolith in a mountain valley overlooking the rest of the world
*3- Golden Egg in the most barren part of the world waiting for victims
*4- Fire Staff that slew my Prophet when his time came
*5- Waterfall
*6- Pumpkin parasite fighting freak wolves with 40k health
*7- Giant Sea serpent that snatches up people and sheep when its hungry
*8- The seventh millennium of this world, despite being free from war, was poisoned. When the Elves were wiped out long ago, only a trace of them was left behind, Elf culture. It was so poignant, however, that those who converted would never leave it behind. It soon came to envelop all of humanity, and with it- the curse. I had sculpted a beautiful world for the humans to inhabit, but a pillar in the Elf culture meant that the humans had no interest in expanding their borders. Finally, in the year 7545, I resolved to a solution. I gathered up every man, woman, and creature on the face of the Earth, wiped their memories, and sealed them behind an insurmountable wall, and I filled the rest of the world with the strongholds of the Cold Ones and an ice age set to last centuries. At first there was chaos. Thousands of people with no room to move. Nothing to eat. Lots of fire. I didn’t really anticipate the fire, but there was a lot. But you can’t keep humans down. When they unified and grew strong hundreds of years later, I decided it was time to breach the wall. The Cold Ones were eradicated, and a new age of hope has begun. Now, in the 8th millennium, it looks as though humans might one day own the Earth.
*9- Harp in an enchanted forest

Does the bomb on death trait drive anybody else crazy?

I spend so long making a world only to have to fix it every single minute because the 40th subspecies of chicken just developed bomb on death, or grenade on death or the lightning one. Makes it frustrating to have a long term world and impossible to have animal ecosystems without actual constant intervention.
