What’s one small parenting win you’re proud of this week?

Doesn’t have to be anything huge. Maybe you calmed a tantrum without raising your voice, survived a long outing with the kids, or just found five quiet minutes for yourself.
Would love to hear your little victories. We don’t celebrate dads’ small wins enough.

Dear dads, what are some low-cost pastimes for children when they are asleep?

As soon as my son goes to sleep, I will use the computer for a while to relax. I'm very curious about the little things other dads do to have some alone time.

Dad's cooking disaster: After spending a long time preparing the rice dish, he found that the soy sauce bottle was empty.

It took me and my child fifteen minutes to prepare a simple and affordable dinner. All the dishes were served and ready to be eaten. When I picked up the soy sauce bottle, there was not a drop left. Have there been any other dads who, because of the absence of a single ingredient, completely ruined an otherwise simple and home-cooked meal?
