I might have been exposed this morning and I have one pluslife test left — when should I take it? I’m hoping to catch a potential positive before I develop symptoms so I can take the Xocova I have on hand (from another exposure which turned out to be a false alarm).
Hello, tomorrow is my last chance to get the 2025-2026 pediatric mRNA shot (Pfizer, I think?) for my 10 year old. I’m hearing conflicting things about pharmacies ordering new covid shots, but also that RFK is going to prevent them from coming out at all. Given that there is a surge where we live and kids are back to school, is it better just to get him the old one so that he has some degree of protection? My pediatrician keeps saying he’s young and has had Covid before and had the 2024-2025 shot last year (I didn’t wait for the 2025-2026 to come out and got him the shot before school reopened) therefore he should be fine. She says the new one is a much better match so to wait for it. Is this true??
Hi, I am considering getting Thermage to tighten my skin (around the eyes as I am noticing hooding and laxity due to age and perimenopause. However, I found out after a medical operation a long time ago that my body can develop keloids so I’m worried this procedure - Thermage - can result in keloids as well.
Is there anyone out there who is in the same situation - would love to compare notes. Or has anyone out there with keloids successfully gotten Thermage on their face (or even keloid prone areas) without getting keloids? Or has anyone heard of friends or acquaintances who have gotten it safely despite being keloid prone? I keep searching for information on the web and not finding much on whether Thermage can result in keloids.
