Are any other women out there feeling increasingly unsafe in taxis, on the street etc?

Got a taxi recently and the driver started talking about how much he loved my voice and how sexy it sounded, asking if I had a boyfriend and that if I was in his home country he would force me to marry him. It made me feel so scared because he has my address. I have reported it to free now but this isn’t an isolated incident. I don’t remember it ever being this bad and I’m in my 30s so I’ve had plenty of time to experience this kind of stuff and yet it’s only the last few years I’ve noticed it getting really bad. I‘m also a huge homebody these days yet somehow always seem to have a bad experience like this when I do leave my house, extremely frustrating and makes me just want to stay in

How are you guys applying your spf?

I was always under the impression that you should (using the adequate amount) gently spread the spf all over your face then let it ‘set’ as opposed to rubbing it in very well so it ’sets’ as you apply it. I usually apply a thick layer, spread it out evenly so that my whole face has a visible layer of the product then wait a few minutes for it to settle and turn invisible. But recently I’ve been watching some videos by Chemist Confessions where they apply their spf and rub it in extremely well until it turns invisible while applying. Now I‘m questioning whether or not my application technique is wrong. How do you guys apply spf to your face? I should mention I mostly use spf fluids that are very runny, not thicker lotion textures.

Sorry for the 100th post on this spf 😅 I guess if you are ultra fair, not just pale but extremely fair, Fitzpatrick I and pink toned this will show up vividly yellow on you. But if you are pale but have neutral or yellow undertones this will probably work! The benefit of this spf is that it dries down very matte and feels so locked in you can easily apply a bright white or purple powder on top to cancel out the yellow colour without disturbing the film. I colour correct it with the Huda Ube purple powder and it works well, but very drying and time consuming to do it every reapplication so bear that in mind. This is a great spf, I just personally would not have purchased it had I known it looks yellow on cool fair skin since I have accidentally purchased more yellow toned spfs than I care to count. Hopefully this helps someone!

edit: I am really confused why people are berating me for sending that email, I paid for a product and was asking a polite question about it. I’m autistic and don‘t know when I make social faux pas sometimes but I really don’t think it was wrong to email in this instance

I had a feeling it would be a little yellow but it’s more vivid than I was expecting, about the same as UVMune. I was able to colour correct with the Huda purple setting powder but the spf is already so matte that it makes my skin feel tight. Sigh. The finish is gorgeous though. I used to wear the LRP UVMune daily with purple powder on top but wanted an spf I could put on/reapply and walk out the door without having to colour correct. If I have to do the powder on top daily and again with reapplication I would just use UVMune for the better protection + more water resistant
