Do sago palms often produce 2 new fronds per growing season in central Florida?
I live in Melbourne, FL and have had these sago palms in my courtyard since March. They were small then. I've never had them before but I fell in love with them because my brother has them planted in the backyard. They both produced a new big flush in early June. But from what I read they're only supposed to produce one during summer. I just noticed both are sprouting a new flush now in early October. Do sago palms start going dormant in November as temps cool and humidity drops? Is early October too late for another flush?
