Locking bench dogs for MFT/paulk smart bench

I recently polished an existing 3d print file for a

locking bench dog to add extension pieces onto an

MFT or paulk smart bench/station. The commercial

TSO versions of this are quite expensive. I haven't put

these through a lot of load testing but they seem

quite strong. If you have a 3d printer try them out

TSO parallel guides on wen track

I just got the new TSO parallel guides for my wen track saw. I'm trying to calibrate them. I am noticing that the wen track sits up off the work surface about 3mm due to the antislip pads. This makes it difficult to calibrate the nylon screws to take out the side to side play because that process involves over tightening them so the rail lifts off the work surface and then loosening it so it sits flush against the work surface. Because the rail is slightly elevated above the work surface, it can't lay flush against the work surface. Does anyone have experience calibrating these things on non festool tracks?

Paulk workbench

Im about to start making a modified version of the paulk work bench. I was wondering if anyone with experience could tell me if it matters if I drill the dog holes before or after I mount the top surface on the rest of the bench? I dont really have a surface large enough to assemble the bench so I'm thinking it would be easier for me to drill the holes after I assemble the bench.

2 staves are used rye staves from a barrel from a local distillery and one stave is from a jack Daniel's barrel. Filled with 100% 2 row fermented with rum yeast. An advantage to making your own barrels is that there are so many options with mixing and matching staves. I have just recently staryed doing this. The last few barrels were a mix of new and used oak staves. Hopefully, this turns out good in 6ish years lol.

If any of you out there are using the airstill and have to find random objects to get the jar at the correct height ( I'm looking at you Jesse from Stillit and your trusty brick lol) I have a solution. It's a 3d print design I came up with. It's got a small angle at the top that throws the jar slightly forward to easier collect.
