The Dwarves of Belegost move against Goblins and Drakes from Angband
Using Photoshop poorly on my phone between works, but it's fun to play around in. No AI and the background was something I found online by jbconcept on DeviantArt
Davale Games Goblin Warg Riders
Finally getting around to touching about and completing all my bases, happy with how this guy turned out
Moria Goblin
They subconsciously may be my favorite sculpt to paint, because I've probably stripped and repainted these 3 or 4 times over the past 18 years.
Returning to the old sculpts
I have mainly been painting Medbury / Davale stuff the past few years, but have been stripping and revisiting my old models that got me into the hobby way back 20 something years ago. The proxy sculpts are definitely better in terms of detail, but I'll always have nostalgia for these old models. I still wouldn't be upset if GW decided to update our Dwarves one day though.
Never played Elves, looking to see if this would be viable or fun
I am working on building up armies of the 1st age, and wanted to run Mirkwood as a Doriath army proxy. I plan to use all proxy models (Medbury), and run Beleg using Legolas profile. Definitely going for a more thematic approach rather than meta chasing. I've only ever played Goblins/Dwarves, so I'm in her territory. Any input / insight on this list would be helpful!
Azaghâl, King of Belegost
Using a Medbury champion as a proxy for now, really fun sculpts to paint, excited to make progress on my 1st age army
Dwarven warrior of Belegost
Have really been wanting to put together armies from Beleriand, and have a ton of Dwarves on hand. Looking to use a lot of proxy models (Davale/Medbury/etc) and paint up some different factions from The Silmarillion. Starting with my favorite faction
Davale Games Goblin Wargriders Riders (MESBG)
Proxy for my Moria Army, need to add some flock/rocks/grass tufts to the base but happy with the way it turned out, really fun sculpt to paint
New paint for old goblins
Going through and stripping and re painting my old Moria Goblins I painted 20 years ago, new results are much better than before
