Looking for a blessing/prayer for good luck on my first day of school

Hey guys,

It's evening for me now and when I wake up, I would like to say a blessing or something like that hoping my day tomorrow will be great. But unfortunately, I got no idea what could I say.

Does anybody know a bracha or something?

Thank you.

The flare gun

Hey guys,

lately, I've been thinking about Chapter 6 where Matt & Emily go to the fire tower because they want to reach for help by using the radio.

There is something I find interesting here from the view of the characters; Ok, so let's say my friend was killed and found other friends in his blood. We decide to regroup and I go to the fire tower. Then suddently I found a flare gun and need to make a decision what to do with it.

As you probably know, during the gameplay we can find it as Emily and then choose between giving the flare gun to Matt or keeping it for ourselves.

Depending on choices we made, both Matt and Emily can shoot up to the sky.

This is the thing I find stupid if Until Dawn took place in real life, and let me explain why; At first, it's a logical choice to try contact help with the radio. But by using the flare gun, it can endanger someone who's hiding from a maniac (which is the situation our protagonists are in). Also, considering the fact there's one way out from the fire tower, Emily and Matt would have been in danger if coincidently the psycho was near the fire tower while one of them was shooting with the flare gun. It's like: "🚨 WE ARE RIGHT HERE!"

Of course, it's not a plot hole because the decision to shoot can be explained in a psychological way; they just wanted to get help as fast as possible. Also, shooting is not 100 % canon but Butterfly Effect.

By the way; my inspiration for the post comes from watching Mulan from 1998 where such situation with revealing location happened in one scene but under different circumstances.

Now, I'm curious if anyone else thought the same as I do when replaying or rewatching the game again?

Alternative test subjects

Hey guys, you probably remember the first Psycho trap when Chris was forced to choose between Josh and Ashley.

I want to make a thought experiment when we imagine Emily having to choose between Mike and Matt. I think it would be more intense variant.

Ok, let me explain my opinion about Emily's potential choice; first, let me remind you that Mike is Emily's ex while Matt is her present boyfriend. During the game, Emily shows that signs she didn't move on and might still have feelings for Mike.

However, Matt has something Mike doesn't; he's dedicated. - we see that Emily is the dominant one in their relationship and Matt barely protests. So, he's technically a good match for Emily's type. We also see that Matt tries to impress Em. And, let's remember the fact Mike broke up with Emily and dates her ex best friend Jessica. So, no matter if people claim Mike cheated or simply broke up with her, in Emily's mind, it is an act of betrayal that her ex-boyfriend dates her best friend. We cannot be certain how Mike was as a boyfriend, but it's easy to assume Matt was more of a loyal partner. And loyalty is something Emily values as we see during the gameplay when we basically need to be on her side to have high relationship with er when playing as Matt.

My verdict is that Emily would choose to save Matt. But of course, it might depend on how good their relationship is.

Anyways, I wonder who do you think Emily would choose and why? Mike or Matt?

+/- of each protagonist

I thought it would be cool to try to think about one trait I like in each protagonist and one trait I dislike.

It's actually a good challenge too because I must think positive about a character I dislike and negative about one I like.

This is just my opinion, but I suppose that some of you might find some personality traits I'm going to mention familiar for a specific character.

Chris (my favorite character):

Good trait: Funny

Bad trait: Doesn't always take initiative on his own.

Mike:

Good trait: protective

Bad trait: impulsive

Sam:

Good trait: kind

Bad trait: passive

Ashley:

Good trait: curious

Bad trait: anxious

Emily:

Good trait: resourceful

Bad trait: too bossy

Josh:

Good trait: friendly

Bad trait: not too serious

Matt:

Good trait: loyal

Bad trait: too reserved

Jessica:

Good trait: life of the party (energetic vibe)

Bad trait: acts too much on emotions

I challenge you to try with maybe one character. Someone you like or someone you don't. It's a funny and creative task. It might change a little of how you think about a character.

Ps: If someone already made such challenge before, I didn't know that.
