I'm finally going to see them!
It's been almost 10 years since I discovered Skillet for myself. Now I'm finally going to see them!

I'm always checking on my published story to see if there are any new views or comments. I don't care about it being popular, I just like seeing if anyone has noticed.
I've finally posted the first few chapters of my story. I've spent six months in 2024 writing, a year and a half editing, and months working up the courage to post.
I don't expect anyone to consider it a masterpiece and am not looking to become a best-selling author. I just want to know whether or not you see the potential.

My story is technically finished, I just need some encouragement.
It write mostly in fragments, as in I only write a few sentences at a time or small pieces of dialogue. That ends up leading to more words because just those few words would light a spark to write more.
I also never wait to finish one chapter before starting the next. I write just enough to know what's happening, start the next one, and repeat. Then I go back and finish all the unfinished chapters.
Don't you just love it when you're able to write your story again after being stuck on it for weeks? I think I've added about 1000 more words over the past few days. I was even able to continue my other projects and put plans in place of another story I've been dying to start. Just didn't know how until now.

I've accepted a long time ago that I won't become the next great author. Or that I'll ever publish a book. But I do still want to write stories. The problem is that the idea of writing is more appealing than doing the actual writing. The big reason why I started is because I wanted a low-maintenance hobby. I've written some stuff already, but I realized more quickly than I expected how exhausting it can get. I can plan a story for ages, imagine all the worldbuilding possibilities, and spit out new ideas at random. But the thought of trying to write it out is something that I practically have to fight to do, no matter how badly I want to write it out.
I don't want to give up, but I need to find a way to cope with this reality before it's too late.
