Do you think attending a single sex school gave you or your child any real advantages?

For those who attended a single sex primary school yourselves or sent your child/children to one, what differences did you notice compared to co ed?

He’s 11 years old and obese (around 10.5kg). We recently brought him for his annual health check up, and the vet said he’s otherwise healthy. Their main concern was his weight, so they recommended helping him slim down. Since that visit, he’s already lost about 550g.

We’re still working on helping him lose more weight, but because of his size, he often smells like urine. After he poops, his backside is usually quite messy as well. I’ve watched him try to groom himself, but he seems to struggle reaching anything beyond his upper body and often gives up.

Would it be okay to bathe him maybe once a month? Previously, all I’ve been doing was use unscented wet wipes to wipe him. But I’m worried that poor hygiene could eventually lead to bacterial infections or skin issues.

My family and I are going overseas around December and we’re looking for a pet sitter who can come in every day to clean their litter boxes, play with them, & feed them.

It would be great if you could stay at my house too since they’ll need their litter boxes cleaned regularly. We considered sending them for boarding but decided against it because they are all pretty timid. Want to make this as seamless as possible for them while we’re not around.

Used to have my boyfriend take care of the house for us but he’s joining us on this trip so we’ll need actual pet sitters this time round.
