Car for short commute

Hi !
I’d like some suggestion on which car I should by next.
At the moment, I have a 2015 Corolla LE with 200 000km. I bought it used 8 years ago (I’m the second driver). I had it inspected yesterday at a local garage and everything looks great according to the mecanic (bushing need to be monitored). I love that car. It always brings me from point A to B and hasn’t cost me too much in maintenance/repair so far.

The plan is to possibly give it to my stepson next year when he’ll get is driver license. I’ve spent the weekend looking at what car I should buy and I’m quite lost.

I don’t do a lot of distance. My job is 6km from my house, so 12km a day and a few errands. So I maybe 500-700km a month, max. I want something reliable that will last me a long time and that won’t cost me a fortune to maintain. I’d like to stay under 35K CAD. The goal is to buy the car and use it until it dies. I’m not a car person, so the drive doesn’t have to be exciting. I have an electric plug at home because my husband has an electric car.

From what I read, an EV could be a good option for me, but… which one? Do you guys have any recommandation for someone in my situation?

Thank you

So, after that being said, those are the cars I was looking at this :
- Corolla LE Hybrid (new)
- Prius (used)
- Tesla (used)
- Mazda 3 (new)

I know next to nothing about cars, so your help would be appreciated! Thank you

Narita to Asakusabashi

Hi ! I’m looking for advice regarding transportation.

We’re a family of 4 who will land in Narita for a 3 days layover after a two weeks vacation in Vietnam.
Our flight lands at 7am on August 1st (saturday). We are staying at the ICI Hotel Asakusabashi.

I’m trying to find the easiest way to get our 4 suitcases to the hotel and then explore the city. I’ve seen that there is the option of luggage forwarding (will it be same day if we get at the airport early? Is it reliable?). There is the Keisei Sky Access, but since it’s Saturday it requires a transfert, which I read can be difficult work luggages. There’s a private transfert, but it’s around 250$ CAD, so a bit expensive. It’s cheaper on Klook (90$ CAD) but I’ve read that they are often illegal.

So, as anyone done this recently and could guide me?

Thank you so much !
