my highest score in a vr mini mock/mock is 620. i’ve seen so much diff advice e.g. spending more time on the first 3 questions in a set and guessing the last one and he also tried to spend more time on the first 8 questions sets then guess C for the last 3 if i run out of time so i can guarantee quality over quantity. this works somewhat but id like to improve my score even more, so what advice would be helpful?? i try skim reading and would say im decent at it but is there anything more i can do???

my test is on the 29th august!!

supposed to be seeing family for 1 month (not my choice + not under my control ) and told my manager of this about 2 months ago. she told me that it wasn’t possible to take more than 2 weeks off at a time which i get, but i do 1 4 hour shift a week on saturdays. she’s got no problems giving me holiday when i haven’t asked for it without letting me know and putting me in other stores when im supposed to be working at mine but wont even give me unpaid leave??? SHE suggested that i get a sick note from a gp to cover my absence which seemed fine at the time but the gps are trash and wont even give me an appointment !! i think that its just the one that im registered with that’s particularly bad but im still quite frustrated 😭. she said if i cant provide a sick note then ill have to be dismissed. honestly i dont mind that but i dont want to go through the stress of finding another job again.

any advice?? tough love is appreciated as long as its not nasty please

is it possible to get unpaid leave at greggs?

i only work weekends at greggs + my manager has recently given me days off saying that i don’t need to come in and on my payslip they come up as holiday days. i’m on an 8hours part time contract only doing 4 hours a week which also sucks.

why does she keep doing this and will i have any holiday left if I actually want to use it?

got my free item (buy 9 get 10th free ) and idk if breakfast stuff applies to that

basically, my parents booked flights to our home country for one month from mid july to mid august so we can see our family and this is holiday is something we only do once in 2 years. my manager had said that there wouldn’t was no more availability for holiday in August because she didn’t want to be short of any team members and I asked her if it was possible to take some time off and she said that I could only have two weeks of holiday at a time is it possible to get unpaid holiday or unpaid leave at Greggs so I can go for the month instead of having to quit the job and reapply her later date because they may not have any positions open????? or is there any way i could take sick leave or something ?? ( my first part time job so i have no idea how this works )
